Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Love the iPhone case. Takes me back to Greece every time I look at it. I have received many compliments
On a fall day I saw this snake bird by the river resting after a meal of fresh fish. He seem content setting there so I took a few shots of him. I love how the cypress tree colors reflected in the water and made a nice back drop for the dark colored bird. Snake birds are most often call Cormorants. I enjoyed the moment, and I hope you do too!

No matter if you are a collector looking for art, or a fellow artist!!! I recommend you read my descriptions on each photo. This way you can connect with the way I was feeling, thinking, or see what I was enduring as I shot each photo!! We have fantastic sunsets and sunrises no matter what time of the year in my area. Most of my work is with color, but I also have a fond love for black and white. I think I love black and white just as much as I love color!!!! There is tons of variety in the things that I like to shoot. Something new that I have added is digital textures and painterly effects. I...

Wonderful shot Marvin! I also love the gold and hints of blue on the water.( v.f ) I never have heard that a Cormorant called a snake bird! I know that people have used them for fishing for a long time. Since I read a book, "Island of the blue dolphins" when I was a girl.. I later found out that the book is based on a real story. Sorry to ramble! :D

Thank you Debbie, I am not sure why the name snake bird. I remember that story!!!
